This year, we are celebrating 50 years of Thomas Jefferson Academy! While 50 years is certainly an accomplishment, what we are truly celebrating this year is the vision, courage, and commitment of those who made this school possible.
During the summer of 1976, Stapleton Academy and Bartow Academy came together to form Thomas Jefferson Academy. More than the merger of two schools was accomplished – it brought together communities, parents, students, and teachers united around a shared purpose.
We are not simply beneficiaries of someone else’s vision. We are now the stewards of its future.
The Thomas Jefferson Academy Alumni Association exists to help ensure that TJA is here and thriving for at least the next 50 years.
A legacy that keeps

The Alumni Association has established the Alumni Fund, creating a third source of revenue for our school. Every dollar raised goes directly into this permanent fund. Our goal is to grow the principal over time so it can be invested, allowing TJA to benefit from the earnings for generations to come.
